Power Assure delivers its Business Continuity and Event Response solutions by automating power capping, throttling, scheduling, load shedding and shifting based on run-book procedures. This, in turn, allows operators to adjust IT capacity and load, respond to emergencies and events with planned actions.
EM/4 Business Continuity capabilities also extend into the virtualization layer. EM/4 provides tools to pair applications with appropriate IT assets based on service tiers, historical trends, and business rules. This ensures that most business critical applications have higher priority to access more resources than non-critical processes within the data center.
