Power Assure's hosted Monitoring Software tracks and accumulates real-time comprehensive data about power usage, temperature, humidity, and application loads across your data center. This allows insight into all aspects of power usage in your data center, from measuring capacity at the rack level, to establishing the cost of power to be accurately assigned to each application, service, or department. Using our customized Web portal, you can drill down into the details of a single data center or aggregate data from all of your sites. The result is much better visibility into how energy impacts all aspects of your services or products. Equipped with real-time energy reports, you can now make informed decisions about where to add more servers or where you may be overloaded, or where to cut costs or where to invest.

The Power Assure Monitoring software module tracks power consumption and cooling requirements at a granular level, including utility feeds, generators, power distribution units, power meters, and environmental sensors. In addition, these energy baseline measurement and audit features facilitate applications for financial incentives and rebates from utilities.
The monitoring software resides on the Power Assure P100 Energy Controller. The P100 is provided by Power Assure and is easily rack mounted in your data center or lab environment. It is typically installed on your management network. A single P100 controller handles up to 10,000 monitoring points. The Web-based dashboard — customized for your data center— integrates and displays all facility and IT information to provide easy energy use monitoring and management.

SAAS or Onsite Deployment Options
The Power Assure service is usually hosted at Power Assure's secure data center. However, if security requirements demand it, Power Assure can provide a hosted service located in your own data center, with Power Assure providing management and support. Our SaaS solution includes a shared reference database on data center equipment and utility data, a simulation engine for trying out various changes to see the affect before you make changes, and a customer archive and inventory that stores the historic configuration, operation, and energy consumption and savings data.
