Ashley Davis As a business evangelist, university lecturer and recognized global specialist in the design build and operability of data centers, Ashley Davis provides valuable insight to Power Assure. Currently a non-executive director for UK-based Infinity, Ashley brings a wealth of global operations experience gained through executive assignments at JPMorgan Chase, CS Technology, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley where he worked with CIO and CEO communities. He has been responsible for the technology and infrastructure design of one million square feet of data center development. He gained experience in the mission critical financial services industry and has managed the strategy and architecture for a global data center portfolio. Ashley is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) and sits on numerous advisory boards and working groups within the data center and cloud industry. Ashley serves as co-chairperson of the ODCA (Open Data Centre Alliance) regulatory and environmental working group and as chairman for the past four years for the Broadgroup awards panel. He also is an intelligent building lecturer at Reading University at MSc level and a 2009 winner for data center operators of the Uptime Institute's Top 100Green companies.
Paul De Martini Paul De Martini is Managing Director, Newport Consulting Services Group. Paul provides management consulting services to technology and energy industry executives worldwide regarding strategic planning, business transformation and technology management. Recently, he was Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Innovation for Cisco's Energy Networks Group. Paul led development of Cisco's global energy business and technology architecture, energy sector policy, standards and R&D. Previously, he was vice president of Advanced Technology at Southern California Edison (SCE) leading SCE's $2 billion smart grid technology strategy, policy, research and deployment activity. Earlier, he held executive positions with ICF International, Sempra Energy, Coastal Oil and PG&E Corporation in competitive energy services markets, wholesale market and electric system operations. At PG&E Energy Services, his sales and marketing team sold $3 billion of integrated solutions to F1000 clients across North America. Paul has been recognized for his innovation and efforts on grid modernization, including DoE's Gridwise Applied, EPRI Intelligrid, EnergyBiz's KITE Innovation awards. He holds an MBA from University of Southern California and is currently a Fellow of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Paul also completed the technology management program at Caltech and the project management program at UC Berkeley.
Thad R. Perry Thad Perry served as an executive consultant with Accenture for 30 years following his graduation from OSU Engineering and MBA Schools. Thad was a partner for over 20 years and held numerous executive and leadership positions at the Board and global levels, working internationally for nearly half of his career. He is an expert and thought leader in corporate strategy and transformation through technology assimilation, process reengineering and change management. Thad is highly specialized in the financial services industry and financial management areas, regulated industries, and communications. He has run very large segments of Accenture's practice, including the German-speaking countries and Eastern Europe where he managed over 3,500 people and nearly a billion dollars in annual billings through double-digit growth and profitability. He was also a member of the Global Outsourcing and Ventures Board dealing with 100's of new start-ups and mega-projects. Thad has been recognized as an outstanding alumnus of both the OSU MBA and engineering schools, and as a published thought leader driving transformation in Germany during the 1990's. He has continued his career an angel investor, entrepreneur, and strategic personal advisor to senior executives and board members.
Lyman Phillips Lyman Phillips is a seasoned 32-year energy company executive with extensive executive management, finance, strategic planning, and operations experience with the regulated energy industry. Lyman served as COO for the Elsag Bailey Corporation for seven years, where he directed global energy systems automation industry units, with emphasis on strategic energy systems consulting, marketing, process automation technology, and energy management solutions. Previously, he served as executive vice president for holding company Centerior Energy Corporation, where he successfully merged and integrated The Toledo Edison Company and The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company. Prior to Centerior, Lyman served as executive vice president with Toledo Edison where he served as a member of the financing team responsible for raising capital to build multiple fossil and nuclear power plants. He also served on the Regulatory Affairs Committee providing strategic direction for regulatory interactions with Ohio and Federal Utility Commissions. Lyman has an MBA from Harvard University and BSEE from the University of Toledo. |
