Its Software as a Service (SaaS) solution can be implemented in as little as three to four weeks and offers a fully-integrated customer dashboard for easy management.

Power Assure offers better visibility into power usage with power monitoring software that tracks and reports both historical and real-time data about power consumption and application loads. Power Assure Energy Management Products

Power Monitoring Software. Power Assure's Power Monitoring Software module tracks power consumption and cooling requirements at a granular level, including utility feeds, generators, power distribution units, power meters, and environmental sensors. The monitoring software resides on the Power Assure P100 Energy Controller provided and serviced by Power Assure. Through an online upgrade, monitoring capabilities can be expanded to provide Dynamic Power Management (DPM).

Dynamic Power Management. Power Assure's Dynamic Power Management (DPM) software adjusts the number of servers operating in a data center — in real time — to optimize overall server utilization based on constantly changing application load. Our online database tracks key metrics for all of the assets in your data center, including power draw and service level requirements for your customers. The management software module continuously balances server supply with customer demand and service levels. The software can also adjust cooling systems (fan speed, water temperature, and water flow) to further reduce energy consumption.

Company Background

Power Assure was founded in 2007, based on process automation technology developed over the last 10 years at International Soft Devices (ISD). The core process automation software of the Power Assure solution was successfully deployed at many large companies, including Exodus, C & W, Savvis, Sprint, and Hewlett Packard.

Power Assure is a two-time winner at the 2008 Clean Tech Open in the “smart power” and “sustainability” categories. The company has also achieved UL certification and is an Energy Star partner.
